When gods created metal, they decided that it would sound more brutal than hell, this is their mandate and it governs the genre devotees. Some musicians think that this sound must be aggressive, sharp as a whiplash, fucking hostile, like an acid raining blood, others think it should be heavy and hard as an obituary gravestone. Some listeners feel that music should be complicated, as patterns in the ivy, others that it should be simple, such as being laid to rest. But, is it possible to corrode until the expiry of the latest symptoms of existence in the universe? is it possible to weight insatiably without collapsing himself as a black hole? Wrath requires a return to serenity and calm, bleed eventually requires the relief of a sweet leaves subtle dressing. The metal musician gathers all these doubts and raises himself: - Is it more hard a dense and blunt rhythm or the sharp stridency of a melody like a cadescent needle? - Is it more furious the frenzy speed of a crazy train or the disturbing and inexorable slowness? - Is it more extreme a dark harmony or the dissonant friction of files and picks destroying each other? - Is it more powerful the sum of the parts in one direction or the coordinated attack from different flanks? Unpraise is the intersection of five individual thought patterns in perpetual deliberation to find an answer to these questions, execute it searching one of paths to perfect balance and display the result devastating the stage, expressing words of hatred and unpraise.
Cuando los dioses crearon el metal, decidieron que sonaría más brutal que el mismo infierno, éste es su mandato y por él se rigen los devotos al género. Algunos músicos creen que para ello el sonido debe ser agresivo, afilado como un latigazo, jodidamente hostil, cual lluvia de sangre ácida; otros piensan que debe ser pesado y duro como una losa obituaria. Ciertos oyentes opinan que la música debe ser complicada, como las estructuras que dibuja la hiedra; otros, que debe ser sencilla, como estar tumbado para el descanso. Pero, ¿es posible corroer hasta la extinción los últimos síntomas de existencia en el universo? ¿es posible pesar insaciablemente sin colapsarse a sí mismo como un agujero negro? La rabia requiere un retorno a la calma y serenidad, el sangrado exige a la postre el alivio de un sutil vendaje de dulces hojas. El músico de metal recoge todas estas dudas y se plantea: -¿Es más duro un ritmo denso y contundente o la estridencia de una melodía punzante cual aguja candente? -¿Es más furiosa la velocidad frenética de un tren enloquecido o la inquietante e inexorable lentitud? -¿Es más extrema una armonía oscura o la disonante fricción de lijas y púas destruyéndose unas contra otras? -¿Es más poderosa la suma de las partes en una misma dirección, o el ataque coordinado desde distintos flancos? Unpraise es la intersección de cinco patrones de pensamiento individual en perpetua deliberación por encontrar una respuesta a estas preguntas, ejecutarla buscando uno de los caminos hacia el perfecto equilibrio y mostrar el resultado asolando el escenario, expresando palabras de odio e irreverencia.
