With the iPhone app nearing completion (within 90 days), I have decided to announce the development of the Jammer Direct Android App. This will be the Jammer Direct experience on any Android phone. I am starting development within the next week.

As of right now you can listen to JammerStream on iPhone and iPod Touch through ShotCast, FlyCast, and Pandora. I have added serveral more relays to accomodate the traffic as well as an independant stream relay for the forthcoming iPhone app (streaming at 48kps instead of 128) to work with AT&T's network. The stream also currently plays on Blackberry as well as Yahoo! Go.

Currently JammerStream has 32 hours of music uploaded from 697 Jammers from 8 countries. This brings me to the announcement of my next project. Uploads are approved at the rate of twice a month.

After the completion of the iPhone and Android apps I am going to split the music into channels by genre and keep the current channel playing everything. This will be accessable through the site as well as the apps.
