I was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, now I live in Muncie, Indiana.
I graduated from the Ball State with a B.A. and Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1993, majoring in painting. My interest has focused primarily on contemporary abstraction and non-objective painting. Since school, I have been featured in numerous one-man and group exhibitions in the United States as well as Canada .
In 1994, I was one of the three artists selected to represent the United States at the ”Art Today – Sapporo Triennale” exhibition at the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art in Sapporo, Japan. The following year I was invited to attend an international exhibition in Seoul, Korea.
I have received numerous awards and grants for my painting, including Chicago Arts Council grants, project travel grants and several painting prizes internationally. My work is included in such prominent collections as the Chicago Council Artbank and the Art Gallery of Windsor, Canada. I am represented in many corporate and private collections including Citibank, Deloitte & Touche, Price Waterhouse and Hilton International.
