About Fistaface

FISTAFACE is an original metal band formed in 1999 and based in Auburn, IN (USA). Our music style is mixed, combining several different types of metal into some groove oriented, head banging, mosh pit thrashing mayhem! Some of our influences are....Six Feet Under, Testament, Pantera, Overkill, S.O.D, Hatebreed and Death just to name a few! Our current line-up is....Chris Burch on Vocals & part-time rhythm guitar, Bill Lilly on Drums & backing vocals, Jason Mitchell on "The Other Guitar", Scotty James on Lead Guitar and Your Name Here on Bass! We've performed lots of shows over the years, with numerous other bands, some of which include....SixPastHell, Gunship666, Fog, Summon, Cryptic (RIP Terry Linn), Legion, Consumed by Fury, Sirface, Shroud, Psychomancer and Necrodemon just to name a few. We've performed at multiple venues across Indiana and at various fund raisers and events throughout Northern Indiana! One of the high points in our band bands existence to date was in 04' when we were invited to take part in the Hilgers Battle of the Bands, featuring 10 bands! We ended up taking first place! We've released 2 studio demo CD's so far. A self-titled 3 song disc in 2002 and a self-titled 2 song disc in 2004!We recorded both at Monastic Chambers studio in New Haven, IN, with Jon Gillespie at the controls! Our current line-up has been working well together until just recently, our bassist and long time friend Pat has decided to pursue other interests! Good luck to Pat. So....once we find another bassist and he gets the material down, we'll be hittin' the studio to get a new CD recorded in order to get our new and improved songs out for everyone to hear! We're also seeking record label support, so we can get out on the road, meet and tour with new bands, make lots of new fans and "Destroy" venues across the country and eventually....THE WORLD!!
